PRIZE MONEY RULES

  • The race results released on race day are provisional. The official results and prize money distribution will be governed by the rules and regulations of the event.
  • Finish positions of the runners falling within the age groups will be based on net finish times only.
  • Only confirmed runners falling within the age groups given below, and starting their race in accordance with point 2 below will be entitled to be considered for prize money mentioned in the prize money structure for the race category:

Disclaimer: For age categorization purposes, runners who have turned 39 years old but not yet 40 will be placed in the 18-39 age group similarly for other age categories.
  • Runners need to cross the start line within 20 minutes of the official race start to be eligible for timings, rankings, and prize money (if applicable).
  • The cut-off of finish time for prize money entitlement for the race categories is as mentioned below
    • Half Marathon – 3 hours from start time.
    • 10K Run – 1 hour 45 minutes from start time.
  • In addition to the above, entitlement to finish positions and prize money winnings are also subject to –
    • Bib tag timing captured across all timing points on the course, including at the start and finish mats, and
    • Physical verification by technical officials and anti-cheat cameras.
    • You need to show the original bib to claim the prize.
  • Runners who have exchanged their race number bib and/or bib tag with others will be disqualified from the competition. These runners will not be eligible for any timing or prize money (if applicable).
  • Prize winners may be asked to provide additional proof of identity or age as required by the event organizers to receive prize money. If they fail to do so, the organizers may, at their sole discretion, withhold the prize money or disqualify the participant from the competition.
  • Prize money is subject to applicable Indian income tax rules, and the winner is responsible for paying these taxes.
  • The minimum age eligibility to apply in each race category is 18 years on race day. There is no upper age limit for any race category.
  • An individual can only register for one race at the on-ground event. Submitting multiple applications will result in all being rejected.

Appeals:

  • Confirmed runners are eligible to dispute the final age category placements as published after the race.
  • The Protest must be emailed to [email protected]
  • Objections must be submitted within three days following the race conclusion.
  • A jury shall deliberate, verify and deliver its decision on the Protest within 7 working days of receiving the protest letter. The decision will be intimated to the person lodging the protest.
  • The committee will have seven business days to examine and determine the validity of the protest. The individual who lodged the protest will be informed of the outcome.
  • Decision of the Event Organiser shall be final and binding on all.
